Electricity for vote blackmail of Togolese Those us of who constantly labeled John Mahama
with various adjectives to sensationalize his
perceived incompetence, should rethink again.
President Mahama's calmed disposition is simply
well calculated decoy to engage in clandestine
activities on the blind side of the opposition in
anticipation to steal 2016 presidential election
again.
In spite of worsening energy crisis confronting
our country, Mahama and his NDC government devised
a scam (419), under ECOWAS agreement/protocol to
extend electricity to all Togolese communities
along Ghana's eastern frontier; bordering Republic
of Togo.
Surprisingly, these communities had been connected
directly from our national grids, independent of
bulk electricity that Ghana supplies to Togo.
Contractors working on these projects, are all
well known functionaries of the NDC.
The questions that interest me to ask are these:
(1) I want to know as to whether NPP MPs in
Parliament are aware of the project or not? If
yes, is it legal under our energy laws to connect
our domestic electrity grids to another country.
(2) Does it serve any moral purpose or interest of
mother Ghana at this crucial times with respect to
the challenges we're currently facing; service
providers not being able to meet domestic/internal
demands.
(3) What will be political implications for the
NPP? Since is well known and undisputed fact that
Togo is an external constituency of the NDC and
its relevance in the scheme of Volta votes.
Fellow patriots, Let's be strategic and exercise
prudence in matters of this nature. Elections are
not won with one magic bullet but little
processes, quite often, unnoticed by ordinary
minds that build up to larger event. Long live
NPP! Source - Evans Ayivor
