Ibrahim Mahama

Ibrahim Mahama best person to testify of real change in government – Charles Owu
A Communicator of the Progressive People Party
(PPP) has called on National Democratic Congress
(NDC) supporters claiming that they are not
feeling any positive change in the country to
contact the younger brother of former President
Mahama to share his experience.

According to Charles Owusu, Ibrahim Mahama has had
the first feel of the pressure that comes with a
change in the political dynamics of a country.

“Change has indeed come and Ibrahim Mahama is
the best person to testify of the kind of change
in Ghana now, he is indeed experiencing that
change and I know that he would gladly node in
agreement that change has indeed come…,” he
said while responding to his usual slogan of
‘Change is Coming’ on Adom FM’s Morning
Show, ‘Dwaso Nsem’.

Ibrahim Mahama have in the past month being caused
to settle debts he owed state institutions
including the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and
the SSNIT.

He was forced to issue two cheques to GRA to
settle off his GHC12.5 million debt his companies
owed the institution after failing to pay for the
clearance of goods at the ports.

He reportedly issued 24 dud cheques to the company
and did not pay until the change in government
happened.

The Social Security and National Insurance Trust
(SSNIT) withdrew its lawsuit against the brother
of the former President Mahama whose construction
company had been sued over the unpaid contribution
of employees.

The business man was dragged for failure to pay
the contribution of employees to the tune of
GHS1million for default on the payment and penalty
arising from the default.

And Ibrahim Mahama settling the two debts within a
month, Charles Owusu said bears testimony of the
kind of change that is currently blowing in
Ghana.

“There is change in Ghana, Ibrahim Mahama is
settling debts that he couldn’t settle in eight
years in months and that is enough change…change
has indeed come…,” he said.

He added that but for the change in government,
Ibrahim wouldn’t have settled off the debts he
owed the state agencies.
