allegedly belonging to Medex Media Company fell on
him.
“I was on my way to work, I used the second
entrance of the Palace mall and was about to cross
the road to the other side to pick a car to work
and all I realised was, I was on the floor and
something was on me.
All I could hear was people shouting and others
came around to rescue him and that was where I
realised a billboard had fallen on me.. It fell on
my whole body… I was totally covered and the
part which was affected most was my neck and that
was where I felt the pain more. Actually I’m
sure I would have felt the pain all over my body
if my senses where working at that time.”

ease his pain.
“I asked one of the medical personnel if they
could give me something to ease the pain since I
couldn’t stand it. After some few minutes, I saw
my mum crying but she was trying to hide it from
me though… I asked her what the doctor said and
she said nothing and they were discussing the
bills and I told her I know what the doctor
said…they said I couldn’t walk again,”
Patrick weeps uncontrollably.
According to the victim, owners of the Advertising
