Emmanuel Banahene fires back at Ismaily over AWOL reports
Striker Emmanuel Banahene claims he has terminated
his contract with Ismaily rubbishing reports by
the Egyptian club he has gone AWOL.

Ismaily complained about Banahene's misconduct and
threatened to report him to FIFA after packing out
of the club's hotel at the weekend.

But Banahene told Egyptian portal KingFut.com that
he severe his contract with the Premier League
side after they failed to fulfill their
obligations.

''Yes, they owe me money and don’t want to pay.
I didn't run away, I canceled my contract,''
Banahene said.

''Last season they owed me one hundred and twenty
thousand dollars and this season too.

''They are the ones not telling the truth. I was
the one who took them to FIFA and they said I
should redraw the case or else they won't pay me
and won’t let me play, that was why against
Smouha I was not allow to play.

''Last season was six months plus this season they
were suppose to pay ninety thousand US Dollars
before the league started but they gave me forty
five thousand only.

''So sorry for them, I do my best for them but
they don't want to pay me so I have no choice than
to leave.''
