Great Astronomers- New Edubiase MTN FA Cup Round of 32 match postponed indefinitely
The MTN FA Cup Round of 32 match between Great
Astronomers and New Edubiase has been put on hold
indefinitely pending the outcome of Berekum
Chelsea's appeal.

This decision was taken in accordance with the
Disciplinary Committee's decision on Chelsea's
application for a Stay of Execution.

Chelsea appealed and filed for a Stay on the
Disciplinary Committee's ruling which declared
them as losers of all their matches played after
February 4 until they settle their indebtedness to
WAFA inrespect of Solomon Asante's transfer fees.

Despite their decision to dismiss the application
for a Stay of Execution, the Disciplinary
Committee decided that:

"That being mindful of the closeness of the draw
date and the match day of the Round of 32 of the
MTN FA Cup (to be played on April 5, 2015), the FA
Cup Committee is hereby ordered to put on hold the
fixture of New Edubiase after the draw until the
delivery of the decision by the Appeals Committee
in the appeal filed by Berekum Chelsea."

The FA Cup Committee will therefore schedule a
Date for the match when the Appeals Committe's
decision is announced.
