2014/2015 First Capital Premier Plus League officially launched The Ghana Football Association has officially
launched the 2014/2015 First Capital Plus Premier
League season.
The Ghanaian topflight league is set to begin
which on Sunday January 18, 2015 at the various
league centres across the country.
Ahead of the start of the league, Premier League
Board chairman, Mr. Welbeck Abra-Appiah has
announced key innovations that will be introduced
in the new season.
Amongst these innovations include the introduction
of a Competition Management System which will help
in gathering data of goals scored, cautions,
assists and other statistics.
GFA Acting General Secretary Mr. Emmanuel Gyimah
also announced the revision of the membership of
the Premier League with clubs taking a centre
stage in the new structure.
“We are inviting all 16 Premier League clubs to
nominate representatives to serve on the board, he
announced at the media launch held in Accra.
The Premier League Board also served notice they
will be enforcing regulations on pre and post
match press conferences which they say is a must
for all Premier League clubs.

Nana Yaw Kesse reiterated their delight that the
league is finally set to begin after the three
