'Kwaw Kese wants to lead exemplary life after prison experience' - Obrafour Legendary Hiplife artiste, Obrafour, has revealed
that beleaguered rapper Kwaw Kese is looking
forward to leading a better life when he gets out
of the grips of the law.
Kese was arrested last Saturday in Kumasi for
allegedly smoking marijuana in public. He was
later remanded to a two-week prison term after the
judge refused to grant him bail.
Obrafour, who performed together with the “King
of the Street” at the Luv FM old school’s
reunion hours before his arrest, told Starr
Entertainment he was able to have a soul searching
conversation with Kwaw when he visited him at the
Central Prison Saturday, and can assure the public
the rapper is well.
“Kwaw actually told me that he had come to
accept his fate and looking forward to the day
that he will gain his freedom and I think he wants
to set a good example for the others," he said.
"While he is there he is learning, with what he is
going through and all that. He is being educated
and he is taking the positive side of it with him
so when he comes out he would lead an exemplary
life,” Obrafour said confidently.
The “Odasani” singer who referred to 'Abodam'
as his son also said people should not be harsh in
their judgment towards him.
“Sometimes, people need to go through certain
things to learn their lessons. Who knows, he has
to turn a new leaf and this is what he has to go
through to make him a better individual so we are
hoping that a good change will come and Abodam as
we all know and whatever perception you may have
had about him, you find a good thing to say about
him when he comes out renewed and reformed,” he
stated.
Obrafour, the man associated with wisdom in
Ghana’s music industry, has also advised his
fellow musicians to be careful not to attack the
law wrongly in their quest to get their brother
out of trouble.
“It is not about freeing Kwaw Kese, it is about
a pardon for Kwaw Kese. As we all know smoking in
public places or smoking Indian hemp is an offence
so let us all rather join in a plea to pardon him
and I think in that way we can be doing the right
thing than pushing for a #FreeKwawKese movement
which seems as though we are coercing the police
to do what we want,” Obrafour added.
Some musicians including Sarkodie, Samini, and
music producer Hammer of the Last Two had already
visited him within the first week in prison. Source - Starrfmonline
