Ghana caretaker coach Maxwell Konadu preaches caution ahead of Togo clash
Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu says his team will not
go all out for a win against Togo in their final
2015 AFCON qualifier on Wednesday.

The Black Stars only require a point to clinch one
of the two automatic qualification slots in Group
E.

But Konadu’s team are desperate to appease the
fans following their disappointing loss to Uganda
last Saturday.

The interim Ghana trainer however says his side
will approach the game a bit cautiously to avoid
getting stunned by the Hawks.

“We want to attack but are also be mindful not
to leave ourselves open at the back,” he said.

“Togo is a good team and we don’t want to
underrate them.

“Yes, we will want to score goals but we also
have to make sure we don’t concede.”

Ghana is still top of the group with eight points
while Uganda and Guinea are second and third
respectively on seven points apiece.
