Boadu has spent most parts of the last six and
half weeks in the treatment room after picking an
injury but returned to training last and trainer
Vieira fielded him in his first game since his
injury and he dazzled for the side.
Denzeil Boadu signed on as a scholar for City in
July 2013 after leaving Arsenal and has flourished
at the club.
An agile and skilful footballer, Boadu has
impressed in a City shirt playing just behind the
main striker, using his strength in possession and
eye for a killer pass to set up chances for his
teammates.
But the Londoner is no slouch in front of goal
himself, and he scored seven league goals for the
u18s in his first season in a City shirt.
An England youth international, Denzeil shone for
the Young Lions at u17 level in the Nordic
Tournament in 2013, grabbing a first international
hat-trick and notching four goals in as many games
for Kenny Swain’s men.
Those he is playing for the English at youth
level, he could play for Ghana.
