Appiah seeks Black Stars reaction Ghana will be looking for an improved result when
they meet Togo following their opening home draw
in the start of the group phase of the qualifying
for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.
Still nursing a winless run in their last four
outings, the Black Stars have arrived in Togo for
their their next Group E fixture on Wednesday.
The Black Stars had to come from behind to draw
1-1 with Uganda and earn a point which leaves them
two points adrift Guinea on the log
A point from their first game has left Black Stars
coach, Kwesi Appiah seeking a reaction from his
players.
"We will have to do better than we did at
home,"Appiah said. "It's a tough group and we come
up against another tough side, Togo. I would want
the team to see this challenge as a fresh start.
We have to put behind us the first game and make
an impact."
Appiah expects a good result to bring a happier
mood for a place at the Africa Cup of Nations
finals in Morocco in January.
"It's a must win game for us. And we can change
things and restore the confidence only by winning
against Togo."
