AshantiGold promise to SHOCK Kotoko this afternoon in GHALCA Top 4 clash AshantiGold say they are ready to play league

in a league match and are bent on
Kotoko were unbeaten in four pre-season friendly
matches against lower division sides in Tamale.
AshantiGold have been but have promised to cause
an upset.
“We have prepared adequately for the Kotoko
duel. We have had a pretty good pre-season and
going into matches with Kotoko, regardless of the
significance of the competition, one needs to
prepare extremely well, at least for purposes of
record keeping and so we are not leaving any stone
unturned,” AshantiGold's spokesperson Kofi
Yawson told Dunkwa-based Solar FM on Saturday.
“We have reached satisfactory agreement in the
areas of appearance fees and gate proceeds with
GHALCA and all we need to do is to play our part
to make the competition a success.
“Coach Bashir Hayford has done enough work on
the team and the players are well aware of the
task ahead on Sunday.
“It is also refreshing and motivating to know
that the players have held a meeting among
themselves to discuss the importance of this
particular game at hand.”
Sunday's match will be the first leg of the
semi-final clash with the return leg scheduled for
Wednesday.
The winner over two legs will face either Hearts
of Oak or Heart of Lions in the final. Source - Ghanasoccer
