Feyenoord win Premier League promotion Feyenoord celebrated at the final whistle as they
booked their return to the Premier League on
Saturday after beating Dunkwa United 2-1 in the
play-offs.
The win in the final Zone II qualifying fixture
preserved the Fetteh side's winning run as they
finished the campaign with 9 points from three
games.
Kennedy Boateng and Samuel Tetteh scored both
goals for Feyenoord whiles George Appiah got the
consolation for Dunkwa at the Accra Stadium.
Feyenoord, thus become the second team to win
promotion from the Division One League, a day
after Great Olympics sealed their return to the
elite division.
In the other group fixture, Gold Stars defeated
Eleven Wise 2-1 at the Tema Stadium to finish
three points behind Feyenoord.
Gold Stars got their goals through Elvis Opoku and
Kwame Boateng before James Bissaw pulled one back
for Wise.
