Kotoko progress in FA Cup to keep double bid going Asante Kotoko ensured their bid to win the double
this season remained intact after overcoming
second-tier side Istanbul 3-2 in the MTN FA Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors, who are closing in on the
Premier League title progress to the fifth round
following their win at the Baba Yara Stadium on
Sunday.
Aminu Mohammed,Larbi Koomson and Abdul Aziz Yusif
got the goals for Kotoko before Felix Addo and
Eric Agyei scored for Istanbul.
Kotoko, two-time losing finalist in the last three
seasons of the FA Cup are aiming for a domestic
double this season.
In another fixture, Feyenoord continued their
unbeaten run this season in all competitions after
defeating former Cup winners, New Edubiase 5-4 on
penalties drawing goalless in regulation time.
The second-tier side, who have qualified for the
Premier League play-offs thus progress to the
