After a couple of hours, new reports from Sky
Sport Italia and the Corriere dello Sport
maintained the Chelsea midfielder passed the
second round of stress tests at the Milanello
training ground.
He is expected to put pen to paper on Monday on a
$5.1m deal that will last 18 months.
Essien arrived in Milan on Friday evening and had
his medical on Saturday morning, but so far has
still not signed the contract.
