Yahaya says Ghana will cope in his absence Yahaya Mohammed believes his absence will not be
hard to grasp as Ghana head into a decisive Group
C game against Ethiopia on Tuesday at the CHAN.
The attacker, whose goal handed Ghana a share of
the spoils in the 1-1 draw with Libya is suspended
for the final group game.
Yahaya, who capped a great goal with the Orange
man-of-the-match award received his second
successive yellow card of the competition thus
ruling him out of the decisive match.
"Everybody can play," the Asante Kotoko player
told www.ghanafa.org.
And he doesn't believe his absence sends any
warning to Ghana chances of progressing from the
group stages as Maxwell Konadu's side and Libya
are joint-top on four points apiece while Congo
remain third and a point behind.
"We have so many strikers including Seidu Bancey
and Paul Asare. They are all capable of playing
just that we cannot all play at the same time. I
have belief in them that they can do it coming
Tuesday," Yahaya said.
Yahaya, is however optimistic the team will
achieve the right result against the Ethiopians
but expects a tough contest.
"We are so confident and we are so determined
because we know Ethiopia is a very good side. It's
unfortunate they lost their first two games. We
are going all out and we are not going to
underrate them [because] they have lost two
matches," he added. Source - Ghana FA
