Jordan Ayew played his first match for Sochaux

Jordan Ayew tastes defeat on Sochaux debut
Jordan Ayew played his first match for Sochaux in
their 2-0 defeat at Olympique Lyon in the French
Ligue 1 on Saturday night.

The Ghana international was making his full debut
after being named in the starting line-up by coach
Herve Renard.

Ayew and his teammates struggled and were downed
by goals from Clement Grenier and Yoann Gourcuff
at the Stade Gerland.

The 22-year-old was replaced by Pieree-Alain Frau
on 78 minutes; three minutes after Sochaux
conceded the second goal.

Ayew, on loan from Marseille for the rest of the
season, was making his eighth start of the
campaign.
