AC Milan want Ghana superstar Michael Essien on loan from Chelsea - report
Italian giants AC Milan reportedly have a
potential loan bid for Chelsea’s Ghanaian
midfielder Michael Essien in mind this January,
Italian newspapers have reported.

The Rossoneri are expected to act during this
transfer window to try and improve their options
in the middle of the park and are believed in
reports today as interested in Essien.

The Ghana international has struggled for regular
playing time at Stamford Bridge this term and is
believed available on a potential loan deal to the
end of the season.

Milan, who are seen as interested in part down to
the 31-year-old’s eligibility for the Champions
League still, apparently have Adriano Galliani
testing out the Blues on his exact availability at
this stage.

Essien, who is a Ghana international, wants to
play competitively before the World Cup starts in
Brazil in June.
