Bottom side, Inter Allies shock Medeama Inter Allies stunned Medeama, winning 1-0 to
maintain their charge to beat the drop as the
Premier League reaches the halfway stage.
The defeat at the T&A Park, Medeama's home grounds
dents the top-four and title ambitions of the FA
Cup winners.
A second half goal by George Asamoah in the 50th
minute was all that the bottom side needed to
improve their chances of avoiding relegation with
15 more games to come after the turn of the year.
With four wins to their credit and the gap between
them other teams outside the relegation bracket
not too wide, Inter Allies will fancy their
chances going into the second round of the
season.
Medeama are now way off the summit but are
expected to bounce back come in the end of the
campaign. Source - Ghana FA
