Mahatma Otoo is yet to score since opening day goal
Hearts striker Otoo out to capitalize on Kotoko’s frailties Hearts of Oak striker Mahatma Otoo will be looking
to exploit the loopholes in the Asante Kotoko
defence in the weekend’s top of the league
clash.
Hearts go into Sunday’s game with one of the
meanest defenses in the Premier League –
conceding just two goals so far but have had it
extremely tough to make it count at the other end
with only six goals.
Kotoko on the other hand aside occupying the
league’s summit, are the team with most goals
scored on eleven but have let quiet a few in
themselves and this Otoo believes is what will
play into their hands.
“Our defence is very good which brightens our
chances of beating Kotoko,” he told
GHANAsoccernet.com.
“Kotoko’s strength lies in the midfield and
therefore I believe if we hold them there and
convert the chances that come our way victory will
be ours on Sunday.”
The 19-year-old has however scored just a single
goal in six games and says he is not too bothered
by his lean spell but hopes his goal drought ends
on Sunday against the league leaders.
“As a striker everybody expects you to score but
these things happen and you can only work hard to
keep improving match after match.
“I believe I am getting there and hopefully on
Sunday I will be able to get some goals to help my
team secure victory,” he added. Source - Ghanasoccer
