Kotoko To Cough Out $75,000
Kumasi Asante Kotoko will have to pay a staggering
$75,000 to coach Bogdan Korak if the Porcupine
Warriors terminated the contract of the Serbian.

The huge amount would be the compensation for
Coach Korak for not being allowed to see through
his contract with Kotoko.

Kotoko, DAILY GUIDE SPORTS has gathered, are not
happy about the output of Coach Korak so far and
want to give the Serbian trainer the sack
immediately the league comes to an end.

A source at Kotoko, on condition of anonymity,
disclosed to DAILY GUIDE SPORTS that the Kotoko
management has unanimously agreed to sack the
coach after assessing his performance in the
league for some months.

The Kotoko source could not state the exact
contractual agreement between Kotoko and the
expatriate trainer especially with regard to the
years left on Korak's contract.

He however stated emphatic that there is a clause
in the contract which binds Kotoko to cough US
$75,000 to coach Korak if they decide to sack him
before his contract ends.

DAILY GUIDE SPORTS learnt that Kotoko management
has been meeting on this thorny issue on a daily
basis.

Sources said a section of the management has
suggested that Kotoko should pay the huge amount
and let Coach Korak go since his presence in the
team could prevent the club from annexing the
league trophy next season.

Another section of the management was said to have
objected to Kotoko throwing away such a huge
amount of money, suggesting that Coach Korak be
maintained to see through his contract.
