Organizing Committee Danny Jordaan will deliever
at speech at the African Football Executive
Summit which takes place in Accra between 26-27
May.
Jordaan, a South African sports administrator,
former lecturer, politician and anti-apartheid
activist, played a leading role in the 2010 Fifa
World Cup in South Africa.
He has also served on the marketing and television
board of Fifa since 1998 and also worked for Fifa
as a General Co-ordinator for the Youth World Cup,
2001 FIFA Confederations Cup, and the 2002 Fifa
World Cup in Korea/Japan.
The Accra summit, the first of its kind in Africa
is themed “21st Century Marketing, Branding and
Leadership Strategies for the Development of
Football on the African Continent”.
It is expected to be a convergence of high profile
global football and business executives, and would
serve as an interface between sports
administrators, business executives, and
representatives from successful football clubs
across the world.
As a platform for sharing success stories and
football management paradigms, the summit is also
expected to offer the stimuli for marketing, and
leadership strategies for the advancement of
football administration and development of the
