Ghanaian giants Kotoko to tour Serbia Ghana giants Asante Kotoko are in negotiations to
travel to Serbia for their pre-season preparation
ahead of next football season.
The Porcupine Warriors will also play some of the
big clubs in the country if negotiations are
successful.
Kotoko are are discussing the possibility of
camping in the capital Belgrade or the mountaneous
region of Zlatibor for endurance tests.
It it the latest effort by Kotoko board chairman K
K Sarpong to make the club giants of African
football once again.
Negotiations have not been completed but Kotoko
officials are confident they can they can reach a
deal to travel in late June or early July
This is the latest of the strenghening of football
ties between Ghana and the European country.
Several coaches have been successful in training
Ghanaian teams with the country’s first two
World Cup appearances supervised by Serbian
coaches.
Kotoko are currently coached by a Serbian Bogdan
Korak who has transformed the team.
Ghanaian players Prince Tagoe, Dominic Adiyiah,
Lee Addy, Issah Awal, Yaw Antwi and Francis
Bossman are among the players who are playing the
