Ghana players celebrate scoring in a friendly match
South Korea in talks to play Black Stars in friendly in June Asian giants South Korea are in talks to play
Ghana’s national team, the Black Stars, in an
international friendly.
The Koreans claim the game could be played in June
most likely in Seoul even though a venue has not
been agreed.
The match has been fixed for 7 June, two days
after the Black Stars have played Congo in the
return leg of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations
qualifier at home.
The Korea Football Association is negotiating with
the Ghana FA to finalize details for the match.
“We have yet to agree on where to hold the
games,” a KFA official is quoted by the Korea
Times.
Ghana is the highest ranked African nation at
15th.
Korea is currently ranked 31st.
In a head-to-head matches Korea has a 1-0-2 record
