Aspirants for GFA President disqualified except Nyantakyi
The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football
Association has announced that only one candidate
qualifies to contest for the GFA Presidency.

Five candidatures were received by the Elections
Committee to contest for the office of the
President.

An FA statement released on Thursday by order of
the Executive Committee read:

"Further to the notice of Congress dated 31st
March, 2011 and pursuant to article 28.6 of the
GFA Statutes please be informed that only one
candidate qualifies to contest for the election to
the office of the President of the Ghana Football
Association - 2011.

"He is MR. KWESI NYANTAKYI."

The election of President shall be held April 28,
2011 at Congress.
