University have been sacked over examination
malpractices and for entering the University with
falsified WASSCE results.
Six students were dismissed for examination
malpractices while eight others were also
dismissed for entering the university with
falsified entry results.
Details of the findings from the admissions office
of the University revealed that some of the

different names.
For instance, one of the students had E8 and F9

respectively in the WASSCE but falsified them to
read C4 in both subjects.
The dismissed students were in their second and
third year.
At the maiden matriculation of the University,
the interim Vice-Chancellor University, Professor
Asiamah Yeboah, warned students against
examination malpractices.
A total of 3,633 students comprising 2,236 males
and 1,397 females gained admission this academic
year out of the total of 6,671 applicants.
The interim Vice-Chancellor of the university,
Professor Asiamah Yeboah, said “this should
serve as a warning to all students of the

examination malpractice’’.
He charged students to take their studies
