Girl, 16, dies after committing abortion
A 16 year-old girl has died after attempting to
commit abortion in the Bekwai district of the
Ashanti region.
Akos, was believed to be carrying a four-month old
pregnancy, Rainbow Radio’s Abdul Malik Anokye
has reported.
The deceased, according to sources, used a
substance suspected to be weedicide.
He said mother of deceased declined to take
responsibility of the girl and so she used the
chemical to abort the pregnancy.
Meanwhile, the police has declared the boy who
allegedly impregnated the deceased wanted.
