SHS student found dead in hotel swimming pool in the Central region
A 20-year-old final year student of the Mando
Senior High School in the Ajumako Enyan Essiam
district of the Central region has met his
untimely death Sunday.

The student identified as Prince Sam, got drowned
at the Nsaakoa Hotel at Ajumako Onwane when he
attempted to cool off in the hotel’s swimming
pool during a party at the hotel.

Sam is said to have gone to the said hotel with
his girlfriend and other colleagues to celebrate
his birth which travelled deep into the night.

Lifeguards, according to Starr News
investigations, were not present through the time
that the birthday party took place at the pool
side.

Some people have, however, attribute his death to
a ritual murder as it is alleged that in the last
three years, a body is always found in the pool
specifically in the month of March.

The body has however been deposited at the Breman
Asikuma Hospital Morgue for autopsy.

Meanwhile, the hotel management has declined
comments on the matter.
