Woman commits suicide at clinic in Eastern Region Another suicide case has been recorded in the
country, this time in Eastern Region.
A middle aged woman whose name was only given as
Leticia committed the act on the compound of the
Ekye Amanfrom clinic in the Eastern Region.
Citi News’ correspondent, Neil Nii Amatey
reported that the woman was found hanging on a
rope by a water reservoir at the clinic in the
Afram Plains South District.
“According to the security man on duty at the
clinic, he suspects that Leticia committed the act
last night after paying a visit to her mother who
was on admission on the clinic,”.
Although the cause of her act is not yet known,
Nii Amartey said some sources close to the
situation said the deceased might have taken the
decision because her husband allegedly divorced
her “after she recovered from a short mental
ailment.”
