Remain Calm and Focused . . . Vote And Change The NDC - Dan Botwe Former General Secretary of the largest opposition
New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dan Botwe has called on
members of the party and all Ghanaian electorates
to remain calm and focused on voting for a change
of government on Wednesday, December 7.
Speaking to host Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's
'Kokrokoo', Dan Botwe called for the enforcement
of law and order during the elections, urging the
party members to go out and vote in their
numbers.
He condemned violence before, during and after the
elections.
According to him, the opposition NPP has become a
target for intimidation by some functionaries in
the government but he is very certain that
Ghanaians has already made their decision to vote
against President John Dramani Mahama and his
government.
"I plead with my fellows in the Ashanti Region and
everywhere that in spite of all the disturbances,
they should remain calm. They should just go and
vote because 28th December, 2000; nobody even knew
that we would win because of the disturbances . .
. but Ghanaians made their minds up to change the
government by every means . . . Do the same thing
to this NDC government. I believe strongly that
Ghanaians made up their minds, two years ago, to
change this NDC government. That decision has been
made," he said. Source - Peacefmonline
