NPP rounds up campaign charging electorate to kick out 'create, loot, share' gov
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has sent out a
thunderous message to Ghanaians to eliminate all
forms of threat to the prosperity of the country
by rejecting President John Mahama in Wednesday's
polls.

Rounding up months of vigorous campaign activities
Sunday, the party says it is the most reliable,
incorruptible, selfless, and people-centered party
among its competitors.

At a mammoth national campaign rally held at the
Ghana International Trade Fair Center in Accra,
speakers after speakers extolled the qualities of
NPP flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo which
make him the best person to lead the country.

'NPP will win five key regions in the elections'

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor who addressed
the NPP supporters said the men who helped his
government to deliver on his campaign promises are
around and will help Nana Akufo-Addo in the coming
days.

He expressed confidence that the NPP will win five
key regions namely Greater Accra, Eastern, Brong
Ahafo, Central and Ashanti Regions, adding the
remaining five would be shared with the other
parties.

'I will continue begging Ghanaians because they
decide who to lead them'

NPP leader, Nana Akufo-Addo said his critics
including the President who have criticized him
for begging for votes from Ghanaians lack a better
understanding of what a democracy is.

With a clear understanding of the system of
governance, the three-time NPP leader said he will
continue begging Ghanaians because they reserve
the right to choose who to lead them.

He said he will deliver on all his campaign
promises made to Ghanaians if he is given the nod
in Wednesday's general elections.

'Mahama is practicing Wayomenomics'

NPP Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr Mahamudu
Bawumia charged Ghanaians to seize the moment the
general elections offer them to alter the destiny
of the country.

He said rather than implementing policies which
will ease the conditions of life of Ghanaians, the
governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) has
been sharing state resources among its members.

He cited the failure of government to retrieve the
GHC51.2 million judgment debt wrongfully paid to
NDC financier, Alfred Agbesi Woyome.

“Under the eight years of the NDC…President
Mahama has been practicing Wayomenomics and not
economics,” he observed.

Earlier: 'Remember GYEEDA, Woyome when you take
ballot' - Mrs Bawumia

The wife of New Patriotic Party Vice Presidential
Candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has urged Ghanaians
to consider the high cost of living in the country
when casting their ballot.

Samira Bawumia wants Ghanaians to apply their mind
to the corrupt deals the governing National
Democratic Congress (NDC) has engaged in for the
past eight years.

She cited the rot in the Ghana Youth
Entrepreneurial and Employment Development
Authority (GYEEDA), GHC51.2 million wrongfully
paid to NDC financier, Alfred Woyome and
throat-cutting cost of rebranding 116 Metro Mass
buses.

Failed Mahama contender tells Ghanaians to ‘kick
out’ NDC

A member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC)
who had wanted to challenge President John Mahama
in the party’s 2015 presidential primary has
declared support for the New Patriotic Party
(NPP).

George Boateng says the NPP leader, Nana Addo
Dankwa Akufo-Addo is the only presidential
candidate contesting in next week Wednesday's
elections who has a clean past.

'Akufo-Addo is not corrupt and he is not like
President Mahama who has dissipated the funds of
Ghana,' he told NPP supporters at the party's
national campaign rally held at the Ghana
International Trade Fair Center.

'Repeat what happened in The Gambia in Ghana' -
Addo Kufuor

Former Defense Minister Addo Kufuor has urged
Ghanaians to replicate what happened in The Gambia
by voting out the governing National Democratic
Congress (NDC).

He says the manner the 22 years reign of The
Gambian President Yahya Jammeh was brought to an
end by the citizens is worth repeating in Ghana.

'The young guys have you found any work doing?' he
asked hundreds of New Patriotic Party (NPP)
supporters at the party's national rally held at
the forecourt of the Ghana International Trade
Fair Center in Accra on Sunday.

‘I’m from same town as Mahama, but will vote
for Akufo-Addo’ – Jinapor

An Aide to New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential
Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo says
despite hailing from the same town as President
John Mahama, he will vote against him.

Abu Jinapor says he would not be blinded into
voting for the President who is the flagbearer of
the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC)
because he is a northerner.

He says Ghanaians have for the past eight years
been wallowing in economic hardship because of
what he described as bad policies of the NDC.

“I am a Northerner, a Gonja like President
Mahama and a descendant of the Great Sumaila
Ndewura Jakpa but will vote for Nana
Akufo-Addo,” he said.

Mr Jinapor made these remarks when he addressed
several hundreds of NPP supporters at the
party’s national rally held at the forecourt of
the Ghana National Trade Fair Center in Accra.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP)'s national campaign

Bartels, and former Defence Minister Addo Kufuor

Minister, Sheikh I. C. Quaye, and scores of
others.

Other dignitaries:

Former President John Agyekum Kufuor, NPP
Presidential Candidate, Nana Addo Dankwa
Akufo-Addo and his running mate, Dr Mahamudu
Bawumia are expected to join the rally.

All the 275 NPP parliamentary candidates across
the country will be there.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) will on Sunday hold
its national campaign rally to climax months of
vigorous campaign ahead of Wednesday's polls.

The programme themed ‘The Battle is the
Lord’s’ will take place at the forecourt of
the Ghana International Trade Fair Center in Accra
at 11 a.m.

include former President John Agyekum Kufuor; NPP
flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo; Vice
Presidential Candidate, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and
the party’s Acting National Chairman, Freddie
Blay.

The rally will be attended by all parliamentary
candidates of the party, district, regional and
national executives of NPP as well as
sympathizers.
The party is expected to use the opportunity to
tell Ghanaians why it is the most viable and
reliable party to be considered in next week
Wednesday’s polls.

Nana Akufo-Addo has stated three things that
differentiate flagbearer of the governing National
Democratic Congress (NDC), President John Mahama
from him.
