Amidu should be ready for me…I’ll deal with him – Woyome
Embattled businessman, Alfred Agbesi Woyome has
vowed to deal with citizen vigilante, and Former
Attorney General, Martin Amidu for peddling what
he calls falsehood about him and the President.

This comes on the back of allegations by Amidu
after the adjournment of his oral examination show
down which suggested that President Mahama had
schemed to stop the process.

He said the President and other government
officials are complicit in the unlawful payment of
the GHS51.2 million Judgment debt to Woyome and
ought to be voted out, in the December polls.

Mr. Woyome irked by the barrage of accusations
made against him by the Former AG, has insisted
that he will take Amidu on for the several
untruths told about him[Woyome] in the matter.

“Mr Amidu has made a lot of allegations. And
these allegations that Mr. Amidu made to the whole
public is not true. He repeated these things in
the Supreme court, it has been expunged. He has
come out and repeating it…about me and Mr.
President. The allegation is that I have gone to
threaten him. Mr president was Vice President when
Alamisi Amidu became the AG. Who instituted that
EOCO report on it? Ask him whether when we were in
the castle he didn’t ask me to come and see him
after okaying the interest payment on the same
amount ask him, and i repeat, he paid the last
tranche. How can I pay a cheque for Prof. Mills to
travel with? What kind of lies are these. I’ve
asked him that he should publish it. At the end of
it, I’m going to make sure Martin Amidu if for
Bodam Aniate or whatever it is, he will pay for
everything and the slander that he’s creating;
he’ll pay for it. Martin Amidu cannot question
me on how I spent GHS 51 million.
