We hold meetings at drinking bars – Western PNC The Western regional secretary of the People's
National Convention (PNC) Timothy Wedam has
disclosed that the party holds its regional and
other strategic meetings at drinking spots because
they have been ejected from their office.
According to Wedam, even though the party chairman
Bernard Mornah and general secretary Atik Mohammed
are aware of the development, they have done
nothing to help the situation.
In an interview with Starr News’ Emmanuel Ohene
Gyan, Mr Wedam said the party is heavily indebted
to their landlord. According to Starr News
sources, the party owes their landlord close to
GHC4,000.
The regional secretary said the situation has
greatly affected their parliamentary candidate in
Jomoro Jemima Soboe who has had to campaign
without posters and other relevant campaign
materials.
Confirming the development to Ohene Gyan, the
parliamentary candidate said she wish she could
step down from the parliamentary race. Source - Starrfm
