I wanted to be a teacher – Cephas Arthur The Public Affairs Director of the Ghana Police
Service, Superintendent Cephas Arthur has revealed
he wanted to be a teacher before joining the
security agency.
He, however, told host of Starr Chat Bola Ray
Wednesday that he has not regretted joining the
Police force.
“I haven’t regretted joining the Police
service but honestly the job of my heart was
teaching,” Supt. Arthur said.
Police ready for December polls
Supt. Arthur also disclosed that the service is
prepared to provide the maximum security needed
for the upcoming general elections, which is
slated for December 7.
According to him, the Police Service has put in
place a lot of measures to ensure that the
elections are held in a safe and peaceful
atmosphere.
“We are ready when the EC is ready…the first
thing we are doing is picking intelligence [at
hotspots] to ensure that we are able to provide
