Koforidua Technical University bans sale of handouts to students The Management of Koforidua Technical University
formally known as Koforidua Polytechnic has banned
the sale of handouts (lectures notes) to students
as part of measures to mitigate financial burden
on students.
Lectures are expected to upload their teaching
materials on an electronic-platform for their
students to access.
“One of the boldest decision taken by the
Academic Board this year is the ban on the sale of
handouts(lecture notes) to students. Lectures are
expected to upload these lecture notes on our
e-learning platforms”.
The Vice Chancellor of Koforidua Technical
University ,KTU, Prof.Smile Dzisi, revealed this
on Saturday during the occasion of the 21st
Matriculation Ceremony of the Institution which is
also the maiden under its University status.
A total of 2417 students out of the 3,617
applicants offered admission successfully
registered to offer various course in Bachelor in
Technology ,Higher National Diploma and Non-HND
programs purging the total population of the
