Ledzokuku NDC launches campaign
The Parliamentary candidate of the governing
National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the
Ledzokuku Constituency, Mrs Benita Sena
Okity-Duah, has launched her campaign with an
agenda of defeating her opponents by over 20,000
votes on December 7.
At the launch at the Teshie Aboma park last
Sunday, Mrs Okity-Duah, who doubles as the Deputy
Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture noted that
the NDC is looking to extend its 10,000 winning
margin in the 2012 elections on the back of
massive developments by the President John Dramani
Mahama-led administration in the constituency.

She noted that the Ledzokuku seat belongs to the
NDC and President Mahama will once again win
convincingly on December 7 after solving the
constituency's long lasting water problem.

Working hard

Mrs Okity-Duah explained that her outfit is
working tirelessly in the constituency to win both
the Parliamentary and Presidential elections for
the party.

She noted that she has achieved 70% of her
promises to the constituents and promised to add
more when voted again into parliament.

She however admitted that there were concerns of
unemployment, education and road construction in
the constituency and President Mahama is focused
on building more infrastructure to that effect
thus the need for the good people of Teshie to
retain him.

In an interview with the Daily Graphic, Mrs
Okity-Duah said "We are focused on retaining the
NDC in this constituency with the kind of work we
have put in place for the people".

"We are looking forward to extending our lead this
time around to 20,000 difference and I urge
Ledzokuku to once again prove that the
constituency seat is for the NDC by voting
massively for herself and President Mahama," she
added.

National Chairman

The National Chairman of the NDC, Kofi Portuphy,
who witnessed the launch urged electorates to
ignore the NPP and vote massively for the NDC to
enable the constituency realise more
infrastructural development.

According to him, President Mahama has worked hard
to merit another term of office from Ghanaians
with his enormous developmental projects across
the country.

Mr Portuphy took the opportunity to introduce Mrs
Okity-Duah to the teeming crowd and urged them to
vote massively for the NDC come December 7 to
enable a President Mahama continue with his good
work.

Website launch

The party took the opportunity to launch a website
as www.ledzokukundconline.com which shows all
developmental projects carried out by the party.

Dignitaries

The launch saw numerous party heirachy members
supporting her with the likes of the Minister of
Youth and Sports, Nii Lante Vanderpuye, Minister
of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Sherry Ayitey,
Parliamentary Candidates of Krowor and Tema
Central Constituencies, Mrs Agnes Naa Momo Lartey
and Ebi Bright, Greater Accra Director of
elections, Sylvester Mensah and other regional and
national executives thronging the constituency to
help her launch the campaign.
