“Kwahu will be on fire this weekend” – Kojo Antwi
Music maestro Kojo Antwi is positive he will be
able to bring Kwahu down in ‘ruins’ this
Easter as the EIB Network and its partners take
over the Nyarkoa Ba Nyarko Royal hotel.

“We’ve been rehearsing for the past week and I
can tell you Kwahu will be on fire this weekend".

Four stations under the EIB umbrella - Starr103.5
FM, Ultimate 106.9FM, Agoo 96.9FM and Kasapa
102.3FM-have teamed up with the Tourism Ministry
and many other sponsors to ensure that this year's
paragliding festival which features Amakye Dede,
Kojo Antwi and Stonebwoy becomes memorable.

The sponsors include, Guinness Ghana Breweries
Limited, Tigo, Ernest Chemist and Everpure
Purified Water. The rest are Mamavits Noodles and
Rice, Mentos Fresh and Action Gum.

The 10th edition of the festival which will take
place at Kwahu Atibie in the Eastern region
according to the Tourism Ministry will create
opportunities for dealers in arts and craft to
showcase and sell their goods to both local and
international tourists who would be part of the
celebrations.

The Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative
Arts, Elizabeth Ofosu Adjare, told Starr News
:“15 different pilots from six countries: the
United States of America (USA), Peru, France,
Japan, Belgium, and Switzerland have confirmed
their participation.”

Kojo Antwi in an interview with Bola Ray on
Wednesday promised he would bring his A-game on.

“It’s everything for me,” he said, adding,
“I was born there you know; so it’s more like
homecoming for me”.

“My brother Amakye Dede would be there,
Stonebwoy too…that young man is something else.
We will give people an “experience” of a
lifetime.”

The Akonoba hitmaker also hinted his mother would
be joining him for his concert at the festival.

“My mother being there for the first time means
a lot to me”.

Check out the programme outline below

2nd April: Akwaaba Bash at Star Boat, Nkawkaw with
Stonebwoy and Kwawkese.

3rd April: Street Jam at Obomeng High Street.
