Kwaw Kese: There was jubilation in prison when I arrived Embattled hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese has told Starr
Drive host Bola Ray that there was jubilation
among inmates of the Kumasi Central Prions when he
arrived there.
‘Abodam’ is facing trial at a Kumasi
magistrate court for publicly smoking weed.
He had been on remand for several weeks until the
court granted him bail on December 30 on health
grounds.
He is billed to reappear in court to continue with
the case.
“They knew I was coming so it was jubilation.
“They were all amazed, you know it was all over
radio that I was coming and they have radios and
TVs in there, so they knew Kwaw Kese was coming to
the cell,” ‘The Man insane’ told Bola Ray
Wednesday.
He added: “Some of them were like: 'If they had
not been in prison, they would never have seen
me”.
