Obinim must apologise to Rawlings – Kwaku Bonsam urges
Nana Kwaku Bonsam, a traditional priest in Ghana,
has called on Bishop Daniel Obinim to apologise to
former president Jerry John Rawlings.

The plea came about as a result of a video the
bishop recorded in his International God's Way
Church insulting the former president for
attacking his personality.

Currently residing in United States of America,
Nana Kwaku Bonsam has recorded a 12 minute video
pleading with the ‘man of God’ to apologise to
Mr Rawlings via the same medium he used to attack
him.

According to the traditional priest, the insult
extends to the current, as well as all former
presidents of the country even though the bishop
attacked only Jerry John Rawlings.

“I indirectly insult all congregants in your
church if I insult you (Obinim). I therefore want
you to go down on your knees and apologise to Mr
Rawlings to forgive you,” Kwaku Bonsam said.

He also advised the ‘man of God’ not to pay
heed to whatever TV/Radio personality, Efia
Schwarzenegger said. According to Kwaku Bonsam, he
should see Efia Schwarzenegger as his younger
sister who has stepped on his toes so he should
forgive and forget.

As he noted, those who respect the bishop might
eventually lose the respect they have for him if
he continues to handle issues like this.

“It is not easy to be a Christian. You will face
tribulations like this as long as you have decided
to be a Christian. It was not necessary for you
(Obinim) to have said you will visit them (J.J
Rawlings, Efia Schwarzenegger, and kwame Nkrumah
Tikesie) in their dreams. I like you as my own
brother. If you are a man of God, please come out
and apologise as soon as possible”, Kwaku Bonsam
concluded.
