Fennec’s wife hurt him - Ursula Owusu reveals
Member of Parliament (MP) for Ablekuma West,
Ursula Owusu Ekuful, has revealed that the
murdered artiste manager, Fennec Okyere had
sleepless nights over his marriage with Amakie.

Ursula, a foster mother to Fennec, has also
promised to love and care for his only child and
said she tried in vain to teach the deceased to
love with his head and not his heart but the young
man could simply not learn to do that.

“I grieve and mourn too because I know how much
you were hurt and the sleepless nights you had
because of the way your marriage turned out …Two
months after you got married, your wife left the
matrimonial home and never returned. You shed
countless tears, pleaded, begged and cajoled her
to return to no avail. I say this with a lot of
pain for I know how it hurt you,” she said.

Ursula noted: “You just loved her as Christ
loved the church, wept and all, but it wasn’t
reciprocated. We kept telling you to move on, but
you wouldn’t, you couldn’t and kept hoping. I
know you are at peace now and no one can hurt you
again. SE ASA! I promise to love and care for your
son.”

Ursula’s accusations against Fennec’s wife
were part of her tribute to him during his burial
service last Saturday. It is already public
knowledge that Fennec’s wife, Amakie, was
prevented from attending and taking part in the
funeral of her late husband.

The widow has announced that she would be
organizing yet another funeral service for her
husband, tomorrow Saturday, May 3, although his
corpse was buried on Saturday, April 26.

Amakie has also revealed she does not know where
her late husband was buried and did not even set
eyes on his corpse because his family prevented
her from partaking in the burial, memorial and
thanksgiving service of her late husband.

Amakie and Fennec have a young son and were not
divorced prior to his death.
