Body of Komla Dumor arrives home The mortal remains of the late British
Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) television
presenter Komla Afeke Dumor have been brought back
home from the United Kingdom (UK).
The body was received at the Kotoka International
Airport by Togbe Amenya Fiti V, the Paramount
Chief of Aflao Traditional Area.
Led by Elder Zoku, traditional rites were
performed for the body at the Airport in the
presence of other chiefs from Aflao - Komla
Dumor's hometown - and government functionaries
led by Chief of Staff Prosper Bani, who
represented President John Dramani Mahama.
The late Dumor is expected to be buried in his
hometwon after a funeral ceremony is held. Date
for the funeral is yet to be announced by the
family though it will follow Roman Catholic
liturgy.
Mr Dumor died on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at his
London residence after a cardiac arrest.
He was survived by a wife and three children. Source - TV3 Network
