Sarkodie mounted the stage next after Kwabena Kwabena Kumasi responds to Sarkordie and Others There was no space in Royal Lamerta Hotel in
Kumasi on December 24 when Homeproud organisers of
24THNITE Concert held the annual event.
By 7pm, the premises of the hotel was completely
filled with people who had come in their numbers
to see Sarkodie, Kwabena Kwabena, Fuse ODG and
2face perform.
The concert, which was the third in a series to be
rolled out began at about 9pm with unknown
musicians who performed for an hour before Kwabena
Kwabena mounted the stage at 10 pm.
Singing a mix of his music from Aso to Adult
Music, Kwabena Kwabena at intervals during his one
hour performance asked the audience the songs they
wanted him to sing.
His Adult Music song was the masses favourite. He
repeatedly sang it on three occasions and anytime
he did, the audience still enjoyed it and danced
to it.
Sarkodie mounted the stage next after Kwabena
Kwabena. Just as he touched the stage, he
introduced a dance move called the Sarkodie dance
and within two minutes everyone else was doing
it.
Sarkodie sang songs like Baby, Illuminati, Tonga,
Dangerous, Azonto Fiesta and many more. His one
and half hour performance was something else.
It seemed the audience wanted more from him but
Sarkodie who was tired from shouting and jumping
left the stage for Fuse ODG.
Fuse ODG wasted no time in dropping his four
singles, Azonto, Antenna, Down On One and Million
Pound Girl.
As tall as the stage was, Fuse ODG was able to
jump into the audience and danced with his fans.
Back on stage, he dared three girls from the
audience to challenge him in an Azonto dance.
Although, the ladies tried their best, Fuse ODG
was undefeated; he proved he was King when it
comes to the Azonto dance.
He showed many moves in Azonto which got the
audience clapping for him. As at 4: 30 am, there
were still many people at the hotel who were
jamming like the show had just started.
On the whole, the six hour show was indeed a great
one. Source - Daily Graphic
