Adez

Mentor 2 Adez to release new single
Music lovers will soon be treated to a refreshing
melody on the airwaves. I call it Twi R&B; sweet
and sultry, which is what we should expect from
vocalist and Mentor 2 famed, Adez.

The young singer, with an enormous amount of
experience and skill, backing other music greats
like Daddy Lumba, Kojo Antwi, Hugh Masakela, Ofori
Amponsah, Samini, VIP and Kwabena Kwabena,
believes that the time has come to leave her
footprint on the music industry.

Why now though? Adez, privately known as Victoria
Adedzewaa Stokes told Citifmonline. com that she
had taken all this while to release her own song
because she needed an undivided attention and
focus so she could ‘get it right. ’

Well, Citifmonline. com can conclusively and
exclusively say the song was worth the wait.

A beautiful melody laced with Adez’s strong
vocals, Budin, or Silence, is a heartbreaking song
which speaks of a woman in love with an
inconsistent and indecisive man. A song, many
women will be able to relate to.

Budin, along with its shot and finished music
video, is set to be released soon enough. “Two
other singles will be released subsequently before
I launch my album. I’m still working on it”
she revealed.

For those who vaguely remember the singer, Adez
first made television appearance on the first
season on Mentor, the singing reality show on TV3
as a backing vocalist, she later joined the show
as a contestant, “people had heard me as a
backing singer with the others but I wanted them
to hear me as Adez, as an individual, so they
could see what I could do. ” She explained. She
was evicted after four weeks, however.

She also participated in other competitions like
Stars of the Future show, and Idols Africa, which
she won in Ghana and represented the country in
the finals in South Africa.

Adez has since been on many world stages in
Switzerland, Ivory Coast, the United States, the
United Kingdom, performing with a great number of
Ghanaian artists.

The song which comes in ballad and lover's rock
renditions will be released on the 15th of
December
