4×4 breach Airtel contract performing on MTN stage this weekend?
Hiplife trio 4×4 last weekend gave a double dose
of exciting performances to a variety of fans at
two separate events.

What is even more significant is that both shows
were sponsored by MTN whereas they are Airtel
Brand partners and cannot perform on any
competitor associated platforms as these things
go.

In a call to the group leader, Captain Planet he
explained that “The term of our partnership with
Airtel ended on September 30th 2011, whiles we
both evaluate on our next moves, 4×4 thought it
wise to lend our support to our friends at Joy FM
and Samini who both requested our presence”

Their Annual Joy FM Skuuls Reunion’s performance
saw them travel back in time with their fans to
the days of tunes like “Sikilitele” “Odo
fita” and others climaxing with the humongous
new single from their Upcoming album “Waist And
Power” Yesi Yesii (Hear Say) which drove the
crowd wild whiles at Movado Live they just went
straight to the charged crowd with “Waist And
Power” and “Yesi Yesii” to a hearty cheer
from the crowd.

Asked whether they are going to renew their
partnership with Airtel, group member Coded said
“Lots of things are happening behind the scenes
and it’s premature to comment now, we will duly
keep our fans updated on anything we do from here
on. ”

Fresh Prince Chipped in “Our immediate focus now
is to launch the new album and get on the road to
take our music to fans nationwide in a massive
tour”
